The following information summarizes how we process personal data when you visit or interact with this website, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Types of data processed

Inventory data (e.g. names, addresses), contact data (e.g. email, phone), content data (e.g. text entries, photographs, videos), usage data (e.g. websites visited, interest in content, access times), meta/communication data (e.g. device information, IP addresses).

Categories of data subjects

Visitors and users of the online offering (hereinafter collectively referred to as "users").

Purpose of processing

Provision of the online offering, its functions and contents; answering contact requests and communicating with users; safety measures; reach measurement/marketing.

Definitions

Relevant legal basis

In accordance with Art. 13 GDPR, we inform you of the legal basis of our data processing: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) and Art. 7 GDPR); performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR); legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cooperation with processors and third parties

Where we disclose data to other persons and companies (processors or third parties) in the course of our processing, transmit it to them, or otherwise grant them access to the data, this is only done on the basis of a legal permission.

Transfers to third countries

If we process data in a third country (i.e. outside the EU or the EEA), this is only done in accordance with the special requirements of Art. 44 ff. GDPR.

Rights of data subjects

You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data is being processed, and the rights to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and lodging a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

Right to object

You may object to the future processing of your data at any time in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR. In particular, objection may be made to processing for direct marketing purposes.

Cookies and advertising

We use session cookies as well as persistent cookies. You can object to the use of cookies used for reach measurement and advertising purposes via the deactivation page of the network advertising initiative.

Deletion of data

The data processed by us will be deleted or restricted in accordance with Art. 17 and 18 GDPR. Unless expressly stated, the data stored by us will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for its intended purpose.

Collection of access data and log files

We collect data on every access to the server (so-called server log files). Log file information is stored for a maximum of 7 days for security reasons (e.g. to investigate misuse or fraud).

Contact

When contacting us (e.g. via contact form, email, telephone, or social media), the user's details are processed to handle the contact request. The details may be stored in a customer-relationship-management system.

Online presences in social media

We maintain online presences within social networks and platforms in order to communicate with the customers, prospective customers and users active there. The respective data protection declarations of the platforms apply.

Integration of third-party services and content

Within our online offering we use content or service offers from third-party providers on the basis of our legitimate interests. Third-party providers may use pixel tags for statistical or marketing purposes.

Google Fonts

We integrate the fonts ("Google Fonts") of the provider Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Matomo

We use the self-hosted open-source web analytics software Matomo. You can object to processing by Matomo at any time via the opt-out function.

reCAPTCHA

We use the "reCAPTCHA" function of Google LLC to detect whether an entry in online forms is made by a human or by abusive automated processing.
